What you share in our sessions is confidential. I am bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under UK GDPR.
What I collect
Only the information necessary to provide therapy safely — your contact details, session notes, intake information and (where relevant) GP details.
How long it’s kept
Records are kept securely for the period required by my insurance and professional body, then destroyed.
When confidentiality has limits
Confidentiality is broken only in rare circumstances: if there is a serious risk of harm to you or another person, where a court orders disclosure, or in cases involving acts of terrorism or child protection.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or have your data deleted at any time. Please email me directly and I’ll respond within 30 days.
